GLAND AND HORMONE HEALTH is the most important aspect to have a disease-free life!
WANT TO LIVE LONG ? WANT A HEALTHY DISEASE-FREE LIFE ? IT’S ALL INTERDEPENDENT ULTIMATELY LINKED WITH GLANDULAR HEALTH.
Everything right from sweat glands, salivary glands, mammary glands, anal glands etc. to the most important 7 endocrine glands – Pineal , Pituitary, Thyroid, Thymus, Adrenal, Pancreas, Ovary/Testes.
Rigveda mentions about 7 energy chakras (vortex) which lie along the spinal cord and anatomically these 7 endocrine glands are located exactly at every chakra. This helps us unpuzzle the esoteric significance for these power-house chakras. I will be talking about this in detail in my later posts.
The unhealthy lifestyle that we live today has axed the harmonious functioning of the GLANDS & HORMONES. That is why numerous women are suffering from Hormonal imbalance – PCOS, Hypo/Hyperthyroidism. Males suffering from Adrenal fatigue, Insulin deficiency, Androgenic diseases, Tumors of glands, Gonadal diseases, etc.
Unfortunately, so many couples today are unable to conceive. It was present previously in the earlier days as well but on a lesser extent.
Today there are many artificial techniques which help the couple conceive but there are various limitations. Healthy glands provide you both reproductive and non-reproductive health.
HOW TO CONSERVE THE GLAND HEALTH ?
1. Follow your BIOLOGICAL CLOCK. Your body has timed itself perfectly on it’s dynamic existence. Obey your body timing. It schedules itself, and rings alarms when hungry, sleepy etc. Only Hormonal dis-functioning can disturb your biological clock. It’s interdependent.
2. Do not fall prey to MISGUIDING/ OVERRATED DIET PLAN. This sudden change in diet and unnecessary teasing of hormones actually can have long lasting effect on your thyroid, adrenal and reproductive system.
3. MASTURBATION: Masturbation leads to excessive fluid losses in men. Semen is a dynamic, potent fluid like other body fluid – blood. This can disturb the gonadal functioning and cause exhaustion and fatigue. Moreover it can also cause balding and other expressions of hormonal imbalances which over a period of time could lead to Impotency.
For women, masturbation may lead to increased sensitivity and nervous fatigue of the gonads. They may become dead to low stimulation and also disturb the hormonal levels which over a period of time could lead to several disease conditions ranging from alopecia (baldness) to Infertility.
Every system of our body is interlinked, and articles defending masturbation as a healthy habit reveal only partial aspect and would be in favor of unmarried individuals.
It is estimated that by the year 2050 if the lifestyle of the people remain as unhealthy as today, there would be chances that the couples are unable to conceive naturally.
4. If or not your family has a history of HYPERTENSION/ DIABETES/ OBESITY – REDUCE the intake of salt, sugar and refined flour!
5. Feed nourishment to your MALNUTRITION. Women who tend not to eat well during their growing years seem to have a lot of problem during pregnancy. There are chances of poor development of the fetus in the womb, increased health risks, decreased chances of normal delivery, poor lacation with deficient milk production, poor recovery of the mother post delivery, etc. Have a foresight about your health always!
6. TYPE OF EXERCISE MATTERS A LOT! In the ancient times men performed exercises for increasing body strength along with Yoga, there were special warrior training, martial arts etc. Women were so actively involved in the daily chores that they didn’t need to spend time for exercises separately. The most they did were traditional dance forms and Yoga. The exercises meant for men and women are different, there is anatomical and physiological significance to everything.
7. Reduce the consumption of CAFFEINE AND TANNIN (TEA & COFFEE) Drink only freshly brewed tea or coffee. These stimulants can cause adrenal fatigue increasing your nervousness and stress induced obesity.
8. REFRAIN FROM CHRONIC ALCOHOLISM AND SMOKING. It has long lasting effects on all glands of your body, Dryness of mouth, loss of subtle tastes, adrenal fatigue, hypothalamus dysfunction, thyroid dysfunction, pancreatic exhaustion causing diabetes, hypertension, cancer, impotency!
9. YOUR MIND DRIVES YOUR BODY! Stress, tension, depression are all leading to hormonal imbalance. Throw these negative thoughts away with the tool of Meditation. If you can’t concentrate for 5 minutes in meditation, you are not in health.
10. DRINK 3 LITERS OF WATER EVERYDAY. Drink 1 glass of water in every 40 minutes. Water is the most important element of your blood which helps transport the hormones to the receptors and regulates the hormone levels.
TAKE YOUR HORMONES SERIOUSLY PEOPLE ! THEY ARE THE ONLY MESSENGERS OF YOUR BODY !
