Kokam Sarbat
Ingredients:
Dried Kokum Petals: 1/2 cup
Water: 2 cups
Sugar or Jaggery: 1/2 cup (adjust to taste)
Roasted Cumin Powder: 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
Black Salt: a pinch
Ice Cubes: as needed
Instructions:
Boil dried kokum petals in water until they soften and release their color.
Strain the kokum concentrate, add sugar or jaggery, roasted cumin powder, and black salt. Stir until dissolved.
Chill the kokum sharbat in the refrigerator and serve over ice.
