Paneer and Broccoli Stir-Fry
Ingredients:
200g paneer (cubed)
1 cup broccoli florets
1 onion, sliced
1 bell pepper, sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Ingredients:
Cut the paneer into cubes.
Wash the broccoli florets and slice the bell pepper and onion.
Blanch the Broccoli:
Bring a pot of water to a boil.
Add the broccoli florets and cook for about 2 minutes until they are slightly tender.
Drain the broccoli and rinse it under cold water to stop the cooking process.
Stir-Fry:
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add sliced onions and sauté until they become translucent.
Add Paneer:
Add the paneer cubes to the pan and stir-fry until they turn golden brown on all sides.
Add Vegetables:
Add sliced bell pepper and blanched broccoli florets to the pan.
Stir-fry for a few minutes until the vegetables are slightly cooked but still crunchy.
Seasonings:
Sprinkle turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt over the paneer and vegetables.
Mix well to ensure even coating of the spices.
Cook Until Done:
Continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the paneer is fully cooked, and the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Adjust Seasonings:
Taste the stir-fry and adjust the salt or spices according to your preference.
Serve:
Transfer the Paneer and Broccoli Stir-Fry to a serving dish.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves if desired.
